Our Recruitment Process
The REC audited Quality Mark requirements form the cornerstone of our recruitment process. We ensure that all Teachers and Support Staff undergo stringent vetting procedures.
You can rest assured that all candidates will have undergone the following as a minimum:
- Professional, face to face Candidate Interview
- 60 min consultation
- Verification of legal right to work in the UK
- Verification of teaching qualifications (and membership of the Teaching Agency)
- Verification of teaching experience
- Receipt of Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure
- Receipt of overseas police clearance if applicable
- Receipt of health check
- Confirmation of professional references
- Confirmation of List 99 Clearance & ISA once implemented
Continued Professional Development
All candidates undergo an initial 60 minute consultation to gain an understanding of the teacher’s behaviour management strategy, knowledge of the UK national curriculum, and ability to work as a Tradewind supply teacher.
As part of Tradewind's commitment to its education staff we also offer invaluable training courses that will benefit our candidates personally and professionally. This intern will better ensure that candidates that you receive from Tradewind will meet your exacting requirements.
