Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you looking for a full time teaching assistant role a Pupil Referral Unit in Hull? Tradewind are representing a Pupil Referral Unit in Hull who are looking for a teaching assistant to work on a full time basis. This is a temporary position and is to start ASAP, until the end of the academic year. Part time applicants will be considered for this position. Payment for this position will be between £85 and £95 per day depending on experience and qualifications. While this is a full time role, part time applicants will be considered, but a minimum of 3 days is required.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with students with behavioural difficulties, and helping them to achieve positive outcomes. A resilient person with a sense of humour will do extremely well in this environment. You will be responsible for working with the same students each day, and for assisting them with their learning. You will work with the tutor and teaching team to ensure that safeguarding requirements are adhered to at all times.

The school has free parking on site that is available for all temporary and permanent staffpermanent staff. They are part of an academy trust that has a strong reputation in the local area. The leadership team and the teaching team provide an extremely welcoming environment for temporary staff members, and will fully support them on their journey with the school. There may potentially be room for permanent positions with the school in the future on the back of this placement. The work in this school can be challenging, but extremely rewarding, and is an excellent setting for somebody who wants to really make a difference in the lives of some young people.
