Cover Supervisor

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for a fulfilling work on a fluid basis in a role that offers you the chance to help shape pupils school experience? Look no further! Tradewind Recruitment are supporting schools across the Scunthorpe area who require Cover Supervisors to support schools on both a day to day and long-term basis.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects. You can also obtain consistency at multiple or the same school, as schools will often book the same people in consistently, you can become accustomed to the behaviour policy, safeguarding procedures, and I.T systems.

For these roles, you will need to have a proactive approach, to be able to cover across multiple subjects within the same school day. You will also need to be confident, but take a calm approach, to help ensure pupils stay on task while always staying professional and encouraging pupils.

Many cover supervisors go on to permanent jobs within schools or use their varied experience to then apply for PGCE courses.

With schools in Scunthorpe and the surrounding villages, the ideal candidate will drive and have access to a car, and therefore be able to support multiple schools. These locations include Brigg, Barton-Upon Humber, Winterton, Kirton-in-Lindsey and Epworth.

Pay for Cover Supervisor work varies between £90 and £115 per day depending upon travel distance and experience.
