EYFS Teacher - Chatham

Full-time - MPS/UPS - September 2024

Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach an EYFS class on a full-time basis commencing from September till the end of the academic year. This role will include planning and marking responsibilities and interviews will take place ASAP. This role will be on a temp-to-perm basis and is welcome to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The school is a large multi-form entry Primary in Chatham and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas. The school was observed to have fantastic leadership and wider staff community who strive to ensure all pupils, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, achieve and succeed. Pupils have also been observed to respect and value staff in the school. This school is very accessible via public transport and driving.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in EYFS.
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum EYFS would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
