Job Title: Full-Time Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher
Location: South Liverpool
About Us: Join our dedicated team in a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in South Liverpool. We are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our youngest learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Teacher to inspire and support our children's early learning and development on a full-time basis.
Job Description: As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our children's educational journey. You will create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through play-based activities. Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians, you will deliver a rich and engaging curriculum that promotes children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating learning experiences that are tailored to the needs and interests of young children, in line with the EYFS framework.
- Foster positive relationships with children, building trust and confidence to support their individual learning and well-being.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians and adapting teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equality, and respect for all children and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a holistic curriculum that encompasses all areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to enhance teaching practice and contribute to school improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in the EYFS phase.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework, child development principles, and effective pedagogical practices.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a supportive team within a dynamic and inclusive school community.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
