Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral who are seeking a Food Technology Teacher for a long-term position due to start ASAP. This is a long-term, full-time position teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4. Our client school are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to teach until July, with the potential to continue into the new academic year for the right candidate. Pay for this position, depending on experience, is up to £211.96 per day.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will be joining a school who have built a happy, vibrant and caring school community where students take centre stage. Our client school has high standards of all students which are built around their values of resilience, respect, reach and reward.

Our client schools Food Technology department has a clear intent to provide a curriculum that is interesting and relevant which references social and cultural issues. The courses are coherently planned and sequenced towards developing knowledge and practical skills. At Key Stage 4, the school offer a Level 2 award in Hospitality and Catering.

To be considered for this Food Technology Teacher position the essentials are:

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
