KS2 Teacher - Medway

Full-time - MPS/UPS - ASAP Start

Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach a KS2 class on a full-time basis till the end of the academic year. This role will include planning and marking responsibilities and interviews will take place ASAP. The school is flexible on year group and this will be based on a teacher's strengths. This role will be on a temp-to-perm basis and is welcome to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The school is a single form entry Primary school in Medway and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas as early as February 2024. The school was observed to have fantastic leadership and wider staff community who strive to ensure all pupils, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, achieve and succeed. Pupils have also been observed to respect and value staff in the school. This school is very accessible via public transport and driving.

The Role

Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in KS2.
Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2 would be highly desirable but not essential.
Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
Have right to work in the UK
