Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hammersmith - nearest station Shepherds Bush
Job type: Long-term, temporary
Start date: ASAP
End date: July 2024
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
Pay: £85 - £100 per day
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant? Or perhaps a TA keen on an opportunity to work with children with special needs?
Tradewind are looking to appoint a charismatic Learning Support Assistant to support SEN pupils, mainly with Autism in an Ofsted rated "OUTSTANDING" primary school based in Hammersmith & Fulham.

- Offer fantastic support to new staff, including SEN training

About the role:
- Support a child with ASD in a reception class on a 1:1 basis
- Follow pupil's EHCP
- Support the pupil in making academic progress
- Create an engaging learning environment suited to the pupil's needs
Requirements:
- Experience as a Learning Support Assistant / Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse
- Knowledge and understanding of Autism
- Confident supporting children with SEN
- Available immediately on a full-time and long-term basis
