Religious Education teacher required for next term in Merton, SW London

Location: Merton, SW London

Start date: 15^th April 2024

Pay scale: MPS for Inner London (Main Pay Scale equivalent)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced RE specialist to teach Key Stages 3-5 at a high achieving Academy in Merton, SW London.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons to KS3 to KS5 students.
• Preparing and assessing coursework, assignments, and projects.
• Monitoring and tracking student progress.
• Providing constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the Humanities curriculum.
• Participating in school events and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Experience teaching RE to KS3 to KS5 students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Vetting documents:

• Enhanced DBS check
• Overseas police clearance (if applicable)
• Right to work in the UK documentation
• Qualification certificates
