Part-Time School Receptionist

Location: South Sheffield Primary School

Contract Type: Part-Time (2 days a week), Temporary (with potential for permanent)

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Start Date: Beginning of May or Late April

Are you an organised and personable individual with experience in front desk roles? Our vibrant primary school in South Sheffield is seeking a reliable and efficient Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, parents, and students in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain the school's front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Manage pupil attendance records and liaise with relevant staff regarding absences.
  • Support the school office with general administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school front desk or similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
