We proudly represent an exceptional Secondary School located in Lambeth, London, and they are in search of a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is available for a September start and will cover the whole academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in diverse classroom settings.
- Contribute significantly to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with teaching colleagues and the SENCO to implement personalized support plans for students.
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators.
- Contribute to the academic and personal growth of SEN students.
Requirements:
- While prior experience in a school setting as a Teaching Assistant is preferred, it's not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for assisting students with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and work harmoniously within a team.
- Dedication to creating a positive and inclusive school environment.
