We are seeking a motivated and passionate Year 1 teacher to join our partner school in September. The school is located in the centre of Bolton and is well resourced with up-to-date classrooms.
The school provides opportunities for children to develop their talents by recognising each child is an individual and making them all feel welcomed and included. The school has developed a broad and balanced curriculum where they follow an enquiry-based approach, enabling children to lead and teachers to facilitate learning. The school has explicit and detailed long term and medium-term plans whereby lessons are purposeful and there are cross curricular links. Previous experience with Read Write Inc would be beneficial.
Each class has the support of a teaching assistant and there are detailed long-term and medium-term plans in place. This full-time reception teacher role commences in September 2024 and you will be required for to complete the academic year, but this role could also become permanent. This exciting position will pay £140-200 per day, subject to experience. This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking for a full-time role.
Essential requirements:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status
- Teaching experience in the United Kingdom
- Experience in Year 1 is essential in this role
- A proven track record with references to support this
