Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Diggle, Oldham to start ASAP until the Summer 2019. This is a full-time role with a salary of £60 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry primary school in Oldham. This is a vibrant, happy school because it is a community where the partnerships between governors, staff, parents, pupils and the wider community are valued. This school is set in wonderful grounds, which they use to stimulate learning and as the basis for many topics and clubs.

The headteacher provides strong leadership. She has established a school ethos in which everyone feels valued. Relationships between staff are very positive and it is a nice place to work. There is an effective professional development programme, and the school also works well with other schools in the area to ensure that staff learn from good practice.

The school is based in Diggle, Oldham and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their KS2 department, within their Year 3 class. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and good experience of working with children with SEN. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself will involve supporting a child within Year 3 on a 1:1 basis. The child has an attachment disorder and behaviour issues, so the successful Teaching Assistant will need to be patient and understanding but also firm and consistent in approach to managing behaviour.
