We are working very closely with a large primary school in Washwood Heath who are looking for an assistant Site Manger to work part time. The school is a caring community, which strives to enable each person to realise their full potential spiritually, academically, personally and physically.

You will be working alongside another Site Manager who currently can only work during the middle of the day, so your responsibility will be to open and close the site and in addition provide 2 hours of maintenance support during the school day. The school are flexible when you do the 2 hours of maintenance so you could do it after the open or before the closure of the site.

The school ideally are looking for someone to start before May half term so that you have the opportunity to handover with the current Site Manger. You don't have to have school experience but you do need to have site management experience.


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are conditional and subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.

For this role as an Assistant Site Manger, the school are seeking candidates who can:

*Communicate effectively with the facilities team to ensure projects are completed on time
*Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
*Ensure the building and grounds are secure when not in use
*Open the building in the morning and lock it at the end of the day
*Display knowledge and awareness of health and safety practices and policies, understand COSHH regulations, maintain records where required.
*Carry out tasks with a positive can-do attitude

*Have Experience working within a school environment
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
