The secondary school is in Waltham forest for children with social and emotional with a therapeutic approach. It has places for between 80 and 112 children and young people, catering for Year 7 to Year 11. Your day as a Behaviour Support Worker will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies, and activities that the students we support enjoy

Job Specification:
*The ideal candidate would need to have a strong understanding of working with children who have special educational needs
*Able to follow and deliver aims of pupils EHCP Plan and update this with pupils progress
*Contribute to developing individual programs for pupils with special needs
*Exceptional communicators and strong team-players
*To share responsibility for the health and safety of pupils and colleagues at all times
*To lead activities and scaffold learning in teacher and child-initiated learning both indoors and outdoors
*Have good transport access to Waltham Forest

The successful person will be supported in a post by a trusted leadership which ensures our:

They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential.
