Tradewind Recruitment are working on behalf of a two form entry Primary School in Nottingham. This school is currently recruiting for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to provide mentoring and support to children for Year 1 to Year 6 with social, emotional and behavioural issues.

Main duties/Responsibilities:

- To work with children who need extra help in overcoming barriers to learning, such as social and emotional difficulties, poor attendance, lack of motivation, disaffection and/or low aspirations.

- To establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with these children. The goal is to get these children to a point where they can independently learn.

- To contribute to and assess a child's emotional well being, health, safety, welfare and safeguarding.

- To provide full focus on each individual child giving them more confidence day by day.

- Working daily alongside Teachers, tutors & therapists to create and develop new beneficially strategies.

The school are looking for somebody who can be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
