Interim BESD teacher job in South Bristol SEN school

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a teacher with experience of teaching young people with BESD and able to commute to South Bristol?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a qualified teacher with experience of teaching students with BESD to join this supportive and organized SEND school in Bristol from April 2018 to offer interim cover as and when needed on a part-time basis during the week. This part-time role will involve teaching minimum 1 or 2 days a week and will potentially be regular for the right candidate.

This SEN School is a maintained SEN catering for Primary and Secondary aged pupils with BESD within easy reach of public transport in Bristol and would be easily reachable from Knowle, Long Ashton, Bedminster, Hartcliffe and St Philips and Bath.

This school is looking for enthusiastic, engaging teachers to promote a fun, caring and engaging learning environment.
-A strong understanding of students with BESD
-Ability to support the student both academically and emotionally in a calm manner, adhere to safeguarding and behavioural policies at all times, and show adherence to professional boundaries.
- A collaborative and driven individual who will be able to take directions from the SLT and other Education professionals within the school.

-You will be expected to:

- motivate and stimulate their learning abilities, often encouraging learning through leading by example and creative lesson plans
-provide pastoral care and support to children and give them with a secure learning environment
-assist with the development of a child's personal, social, language needs and abilities
-develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources
-encourage positive attitude and clear communication of emotions and needs.
-help children develop empathy and control of their actions when under stress

Location: Bristol (The public transport to the location of the school exists and the school is reachable easily from South of Bristol)
