Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding teacher who can teach both Business and Economics, to teach at a wonderful school on the outskirts of York, on a long term basis. You will be teaching both Business studies and Economics to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. This vacancy is to start on 24th February, and will finish on the 19th June (which is the end of the academic year at this school). Your typical working hours will be 8:30 to 3:00PM, but you may be required to conduct prep to 8PM one night (you will be paid extra for this day). You will be in charge of a form group, which will be a wonderful opportunity to get to know the wonderful students at the school. We are interested to hear from qualified teachers who have experience working in a similar capacity. You will be paid in accordance with the main pay scale, in real terms meaning the successful candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £184.00 per day. With a large amount of students taking both Business studies and Economics, the school are looking for an extremely talented practitioner with excellent subject knowledge. If you can only teach one of the subjects to Key Stage 5, but are willing to learn and to work hard at your non-specialist subject, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.


Due to the location of the school it is most accessible via car, and has a large on site car park that provides ample spacing for practitioners who drive. If you rely on public transport, please don't hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to organise a car share. This is a full time vacancy, but again a job share may be possible for two excellent candidates who only have part time availability.
