We are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of Business Studies and to work in a lovely College with outstanding facilities on the island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. This position is for one term up until Christmas 2019. You will be required to teach up to Btec. There is potential for it to continue in to January, but it is left open to suit both parties.

The successful candidate will be/have:
*Able to commit to one full term on the island of Guernsey, and have no commitments in the UK that may prevent them from staying on the island from September to December.
*A Qualified teacher who can teach Business Studies across GCSE, A Level & Btec.
*The ability to work alone, and plan, prepare and deliver exciting and innovating lessons.
*The ability to differentiate as there is a vast range of abilities within the school.
*Strong classroom management, and able to manage any challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
*Comfortable with their own company, or enjoy making friends with the locals and other supply teachers on the island!
*Happy to work on a small island that has around only approximately 63,000 people, a limited amount of shops and restaurants, and with inflated prices (the cost of living is higher than the UK).
