An academically leading Secondary School in SE London are looking for a Business Studies and Economics HOD in preparation for September 2019. The School are renowned for their fantastic GCSE and A Level results and are recognised as a key training school. This fantastic opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and newly qualified Business Studies and Economics Teachers (NQT). The School has a proven successful tailored and supportive NQT induction, that has produced a range of 'Outstanding' Teachers across the whole School.
The ideal candidate for this GCSE to A-level Business and Economics Teacher role will:
We are seeking to appoint a skilled, ambitious and innovative teacher to join a successful and progressive Humanities Faculty. We are a strong team which values working with young people and promoting students' lasting enthusiasm Humanities subjects. We would welcome a team player who is keen to work and plan collaboratively and contribute to a strong culture of sharing best practice, resources and ideas. This exciting post offers part-time Business and/or Economics teaching across KS4-5, with a possible full time post for a successful candidate with History/RE across KS3-5.
Business and Economics are valued subjects at the school and the need for more teaching is due to increasing numbers. We offer the Edexcel Business GCSE and the AQA Economics A Level.
