The role is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher, however the candidate must have QTS and recent experience of teaching in a state school setting. About the School - Business Studies Teacher - Brent, North West London
*Located in Inner London, Brent, the school is near Neasden station, located a short walk from the station and numerous bus stops.
*The school is a mixed school for Year 7 to 13 and moved in to a new building in 2014.
*The school has gone through a journey and last year received its best GCSE results to date.
*The school has had a new Head teacher since 2016 and has a Good Ofsted grading since 2016.
*The Business studies department is small with just 3 teachers in the department.
*The school can offer an excellent induction programme and support for all teachers regardless of experience.
About the Role - Business Studies Teacher - Brent, North West London
*This school is looking for a Business Studies Teacher who is available from September on a permanent basis.
*This post is suitable for either a NQT currently completing their teacher training, or an experienced teacher.
*The ideal teacher will be able to teach Business to both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. However, the school will consider applications from those who have only taught Key Stage 5 but willing to try Key Stage 4.
*The school is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and dynamic Business Studies teacher who has the subject knowledge and ability to teach BTEC and A level.
*Subject knowledge is key as the children choose to study these subjects and want to learn. Class sizes are small with an average of 15 - 20 in most classes, some being smaller.
*The school's induction and NQT programme are exceptional and professional CPD is available to staff at all levels.
*The teacher must hold QTS and have recent experience teaching Business in state schools.
