Tradewind are currently working with an excellent school in North Lincolnshire, who are looking for a Business studies and ICT teacher for a full year on a maternity contact. This is to start in September 2019 and will finish July 2020. The school has excellent student behaviour, and is a truly excellent place to work. You will be working in a close department who are extremely welcoming, with great schemes of work and resources set up for you to use. As part of your timetable, you will be teaching Business studies to Key stage 3, 4 and 5 students, so experience teaching Business studies to A level would be extremely desirable (but not essential). You will be teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 students, so a good working knowledge of ICT is essential for the position. Payment for this position will be scaled to main pay scale, meaning practitioners can expect to earn between £120 and £179 per day. This position would be excellent for NQTs as their first position, and the school would be willing to put a practitioner through their NQT, making this an excellent first position for a newly qualified teacher.
The school is an independent school, not part of any academy chain. Set in a lovely location, it is easily accessible from: Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Louth, Gainsborough and Lincoln, making it an extremely desirable location. The school has onsite parking for members of staff driving in, but is also on a bus route, making it accessible for those who do not drive. Having a strong ethos and believing that every child is deserving of the best possible education, regardless of their starting point.
