We are currently looking for passionate & engaging children's entertainers who may find themselves out of work in the pandemic, to assist with supporting students of all ages in school settings in and around Bath and North East Somerset.
These Teaching Assistant roles are to help in a selection of our Primary, Secondary & Special Needs schools in and around Bath (BANES). You will be expected to support students aged between 5 & 16 years old on a 1:1 basis as well as in a classroom setting. The students you will be supporting will be mixed ability and with various Special Needs, so as a school Teaching Assistant you will have to have experience adapting and reacting to children's needs. These roles are starting from November and can be up to 5 days a week. Some placements will lead to a permanent contract for the right individual after 12 weeks.

This could suit someone whose normal career is on hold at the moment due to the pandemic. Perhaps you are a children's entertainer or holiday rep not working overseas at the moment? Perhaps you are a children's party planner or a dance school owner looking for additional income? We can offer placements on a short term and long term basis to suit your needs. Because of COVID-19 we have lots of work in schools due to permanent staff isolating and shielding. We need your help now!!

You must be able to engage & build relationships with the students and help them with their daily lessons. Having experience of working with children with SEND or behaviour difficulties would be preferred but not required. You will need to have gained GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade A-C as a minimum for this role.

If you're interested in these teaching assistant roles in the Bath area, please email your CV to Ross.Churn@twrecruitment.com.
