This school is over-subscribed with an excellent reputation in the local community, and was praised in their recent Ofsted report for high standards of behaviour and attitude to learning among the student body, as well as a strong focus on learning support and high aspirations for all pupils.
The school is seeking either an experienced teacher or NQT who:
* Has taught both Geography and Citizenship and can teach this to KS4,
* is confident and familiar with the Citizenship curriculum as this is a core subject at this school
* can work as part of a team in a supportive, creative department who lead the school in attainment and student engagement
This role would ideally be on a full-time basis five days a week, although part time may be possible due to flexibility in the department. The ideal candidate would be an Experienced Citizenship teacher who has also taught Geography. The school offers an excellent standard of training and mentoring and employs several NQTs every year, so applications from NQTs are also welcome.
This school prides itself on its high expectations for all students, and uses a House system and regular reward trips to motivate its pupils. The school site is modern and well-equipped, with particularly generous facilities for sports, music and DT. It is located close to the M25 with easy access via car and bus from Cheshunt, Potters Bar and Enfield.

* QTS status or equivalent (overseas teachers will be considered with appropriate NARIC certification)
* Enhanced DBS or Overseas Police Checks if necessary
* An updated CV, covering the last 10 years of employment, with 2 recent references
