Tradewind Recruitment have been contacted by a fantastic school in Chelmsford who are seeking a primary teacher to join their beautiful primary school from September. This exciting and rare opportunity can be on a full or part-time basis with the school willing to consider long term supply, temp to perm or a permanent contract. With fantastic support in place, they are also able to consider applications from talented Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's). Based on current figures the school can offer £24,373 (M1) to £35,971 (M6).

There are requirements within (Early Years Foundation Stage) EYFS and Key Stage Two (KS2), however with experienced and diverse staff in place there is some flexibility regarding the phase and year group to suit the right teacher. The school and classrooms are extremely well resourced with a healthy mix of modern technologies and traditional approaches. You will have access to substantial outside areas including a very large play area, substantial sports pitch and more.

The school attracts staff and children from a wide catchment area and is easily commutable from various parts of Essex, including Brentwood, Braintree, Wickford and Colchester. There also plenty of parking on site for teachers.

Graded as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' elements in their most recent Ofsted, the school has been particularly praised for students' Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare and their Early Year Provision. You will have full support of a driven Headteacher, Seniors Leaders and skills Subject Leaders. Staff benefit from good quality teacher training which helps form an effective and aligned team. From an excellent start in EYFS, students continue to make good progress and are measured above the national average (in Year 2 and Year 6) in reading, writing and mathematics.

The successful teacher will be:
Up to date with their knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
A committed and reliable primary teacher, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
Able to form high quality professional relationships with all staff, pupils and stakeholders demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A collaborative and driven individual who will lead through creative approaches including the use of ICT and other resources.
Demonstrate a nurturing and engaging personality and a sense of humour

Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
