Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding special education needs school within Sefton that caters for pupils aged 3 to 19. The school specialises in PMLD, complex needs and physical disabilities. We are looking for an experienced Teacher with experience in teaching pupils with special needs for a temporary long term cover role up to 3 days per week.

This role is to cover staff absence and training up to 3 days per week from 8:30 to 3:30 on a long-term basis starting in September 2020. This is a temporary cover role which requires the successful candidate to be flexible on the three days they are available. Due to the nature of SEN within the school, pupils require continuity to aid minimal disruption. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a calm demeanour and adaptable to any class/year group they are assigned to.

The school aims to provide a supportive education program that is customised to the needs of students so that they can work to the best of their abilities. Prior to starting the post, you will be invited in to the school to familiarise yourself with the classes and resources available including classroom support assistants.

We are looking for a Teacher who is dedicated and passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs.

To be considered you will need
* UK QTS (any specialism)
* Experience in teaching pupils with autism, SLD and PMLD
* A passion to teach pupils with additional needs
* Experience in managing teaching assistants
