Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an inspirational teacher of Computer Science to join a welcoming school from September 2020 on a full-time basis. Located in Central Essex, the school is easily commutable from Essex and parts of Suffolk, particularly Chelmsford, Colchester and Braintree. The school can offer long term supply, temp to perm or straight to permanent for the right candidate, the role will be for the full 2020/2021 academic year at least. Computing is a popular and successful subject within the school with many students opting to study it further at GCSE.

The school continues its rapid improvement in recent years. Ambitious leaders provide a clear vision and pupils, staff and parents are supportive of the standards and expectations. Teaching is both challenging and engaging with a varied and flexible curriculum ensuring engagement and stronger learning foundations.

The ideal Computer Science teacher will be:
Able to teach Computing to a high level with excellent subject knowledge.
An effective classroom leader who can communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
A collaborative and driven individual who will lead through creative approaches.
Up to date knowledge of the Computing curriculum, ideally with a proven track record of results at GCSE.
Willing to contribute to the school's wider community though extra-curricular activities.
A committed and reliable educator, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.

To be successful in this Computer Science teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
