The department teaches a broad and balanced Computing and ICT curriculum at Key Stage 3, bringing together computer science, computational thinking, information technology, creativity with media and digital literacy. Key stage 4 students currently opt to take the OCR GCSE Computing course. Courses in the department are popular and we expect this to continue. In the Sixth Form, they have been teaching A Level Computing successfully for a number of years and will offer the new 2015 A Level course in Computer Science through AQA. The department consistently achieves very high standards in all key stages with excellent value added results. This is very good provision post-16 and the subject is popular at A level.
