Are you a Construction Instructor looking for a new challenge in a SEMH School in Burnley?
Tradewind are currently working with an SEMH "Good" School looking for a hardworking, experienced Construction Instructor to join a SEMH School in Burnley. This position is starting September 2021 working full time until July 2022. This is a full-time role with the potential to go permanent.
As a Secondary Construction Instructor your job will be to teach and deliver to pupils across KS2 and KS4 by working with small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and academic development. Your role will involve teaching pupils with social and emotional behaviour difficulties or permanently excluded from mainstream school and pupils who cannot attend mainstream school due to medical reasons. Experience is not essential however a patient and determined character is needed.
The successful candidate will have experience in the construction industry or experience in teaching Construction delivering either Plastering or Brickwork. A teaching qualification is desirable with a minimum of a PTLLS qualification.
The SEMH School is based in Burnley and is easily accessible via public transport. There is also a free car park for drivers.
