Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a Constructor Tutor or Resistant Materials Teacher looking for a new challenge in a PRU in Haslingden?

Tradewind are currently looking for a hardworking, experienced Constructor Tutor or Resistant Materials Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit in Haslingden. This position is starting as soon as possible for the rest of the year. This is a full-time role and could potentially go permanent.

As a Secondary Constructor Tutor/Resistant Materials Teacher your job will be to teach and deliver to pupils across KS3 and KS4 by working with small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and academic development. Your role will involve teaching pupils with behaviour difficulties or permanently excluded from mainstream school and pupils who cannot attend mainstream school due to medical reasons. Experience is not essential however a patient and determined character is needed.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching Construction and/or Resistant Materials and have experience in delivering either Plastering or Brickwork. They must have a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of a PTLLS qualification.

The PRU is based in Haslingden and is easily accessible via public transport. There is also a free car park for drivers.
