Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Cover Supervisor, to join a larger than average secondary school, to start after February half-term. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £75 a day.

The candidate
To join us and be successful in this Cover Supervisor role, you will need to:
*Hold a qualification at degree level, or equivalent, and have minimum qualifications of 5 GCSE passes at C Grade or above, including Maths and English.
*Have at least 6 months experience working with 11-16-year-old students
*Have a positive attitude and desire to work in education
*Have confidence managing behaviour within a classroom setting
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV with 10 years employment history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

The role
The role of a Cover Supervisor will involve the cover of absent staff across the school. You will need to be adaptable and confident across the subject areas. You will be expected to ensure students are on task always and so behaviour management is key to this role. Work will be set, and you will be required to explain these and make sure that students are learning. You will need to liaise with the teaching staff to feedback and keep them informed of student progress from lessons that you have covered.

This OFSTED 'Good' secondary school is looking for a Cover Supervisor that can deliver lessons across all Key Stages and has excellent behaviour management skills, as well as a great personality for building rapport with staff and students alike. You must be a committed practitioner, a confident behaviour manager and have the highest expectations of all young people. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead the students through all subject areas of the lessons you are covering.

We are recruiting a Cover Supervisor on behalf of a large and well-established community school, which caters for students from 11 -18 years old. The school is inclusive and diverse, catering for a range of students and ability levels, allowing the successful candidate to explore a range of education styles.
