Are you a Cover Supervisor looking for a full-time position?

Tradewind Preston are working in partnership with a Secondary School, located in the centre of Preston. The Secondary School are seeking to recruit an experienced Cover Supervisor to deliver work set by the class teacher and manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking their work. At the end of the lessons you will be required to collect completed work and pass to the appropriate teacher. You will be delivering planned work to mixed ability and different subjects across KS3 and KS4.

You shall have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above, who has experience of managing or leading that can be transferred into a classroom environment, specifically, your experience must include leading groups of 12+, this could be groups of children and youth work.

This role is an excellent opportunity for people who have experience working within a Secondary School environment. Alternatively, you may be a qualified teacher looking for long term work which will not require planning, marking and assessment.

We are looking for:

* Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant or a Degree Qualification
* Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
* Experience to deliver work set by the class teacher
* Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently.
