About the School - Deputy Head Teacher - Enfield, North London

This excellent community school has served a diverse range of students for the past 60 years and with its current Ofsted grading of 'Good' in all areas is well set in its ambition to become one of the best schools in North London. The school teaches from KS3 through to 5 with excellent results for both GCSE and A-Level. From September they will be requiring a new senior leader who will work alongside the current Deputy Head Teacher and take responsibility for part of the school's structural development and long-term strategic plan. This is an ambitious school that is keen to achieve 'outstanding' status at its next Ofsted so a DHT with experience in this area would be excellent.

*Open to highly qualified senior leaders only who are a minimum of AHT level at current school
*Must be exceptional class teachers from any subject background
*Duties will be to lead in an area of strength from either teaching & learning, behaviour or curriculum development
*Must be able to support and develop staff at all stages of their careers
*Need to have strong behaviour management skills and ideas on how to improve this further across the school
