*This is a high achieving school with a strong history and tradition that dates back 300 years. The school is highly regarded as being an excellent provider of a 'well rounded' education that focuses on academia but also pays attention to creative subjects.
*The school has a varied intake of pupils from a range of backgrounds. Design Technology as a subject is highly popular and is taught through to A-Level. From January (or earlier if possible) the school is looking to appoint a committed Design Technology Teacher to join the two other full-time members of staff.
*Heavy investment has taken place for all faculties at the school but none more son than the Design Technology department. Machinery and equipment has been replaced or refurbished, money has been made available for resources and a full-time technician has been appointed to support the Design Technology Teaching staff.
