Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding design technology teacher to teach in an excellent school in North Lincolnshire, from January - Easter initially. This is an open vacancy, so if the teacher is successful and is looking for a permanent position, there will be the opportunity. You will be teaching Resistant Materials to Key Stage 4 students, and all facets of DT (minus Food Technology) to Key Stage 3 students. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for this position, so the successful candidate can expect to earn between £120.00 and £180.00 for this position, depending on experience and qualifications. You will be the teacher in charge of resistant materials, so a true subject specialist is needed for this position, and knowledge of GCSE classes is certainly essential for this position.


The School in question is a large school that has great contact links. As a rural school it is easiest to access via car, but is accessible via public transport. The school has a strong technology department, and are looking for a strong practitioner to work alongside their existing staff members, to provided an excellent education in technology for their students. You will predominantly be teaching Key Stage 4 resistant materials, but there will be some Key Stage 3 teaching of general technology.
