Are you an engaging Design Technology Teacher currently seeking a new opportunity from September?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a medium sized secondary school in Central Essex, who are seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join their welcoming team next year. The school able to consider applications from NQT's and those with experience. With experienced staff with the DT department they can consider specialists across most disciplines. However, some knowledge of Engineering, Resistant Materials and Product Design may prove advantageous.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school to work alongside a hard-working and supportive team. Leaders have a great understanding of their schools' strengths and a clear plan is in place to continually improve their existing high quality of education. The curriculum is of a high quality and staff genuinely care about the pupils and their progress.
This position would suit a passionate, dedicated, and motivational Design Technology teacher eager to achieve. With goods links with public transport and onsite parking, the school is easily from most of Essex and parts of East London.
The successful Technology Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.
To be successful in this Design Technology Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
