Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools based in Wirral who are looking to appoint a part time Design Technology and Art Technician for a position to start ASAP. This is an ongoing position, likely to continue until at least Christmas. This is a part time, 4 day per week post, working days being Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Working hours would be 8.30am until 2.30pm
The school are looking for a Design Technology Technician who has:
- Previous experience as a Design Technology Technician
- Experience using - Laser cutter, circular saw and band saw
- A can do attitude
- The attitude to go above and beyond to support the DT and Art departments
This role may also suit a teacher who is considering taking a step back from the classroom or an NQT who is looking to further their experience before entering the classroom.

- Hold recent, relevant experience as a Design Technology Technician;
- This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be accounted for;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
