Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching Drama in Newham, East London.

Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, creative, engaging and talented Drama teacher to join a community school based in the London Borough of Newham for post to start in the summer term. This is a great opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic English Teacher to secure a job is a welcoming and friendly department.
Applications from NQTs with an appropriate academic background are welcome along with more experienced Teachers.

As a Drama Teacher you will be joining the Arts department which included Art, Music & Drama. These subjects are offered a Key Stage 3 & 4. You will encourage students to unlock their imagination. The curriculum across the Arts is rich, exciting, varied and fully inclusive. This provides students to be creative, articulate, confident and expressive. Key Stage 3 is broken down into key objectives creating, Performing & Responding. Students select their GCSE options to commence in year 9. From year 9 Drama prepares students for the exam content from the AQA specification. The client would be looking for staff to have a clear sense of fun, energy, drive and Passion for Drama. Behaviour is excellent.

Their curriculum is exciting and dynamic, with a broad curriculum in KS3 preparing the way for students to follow diverse interests and pathways in KS4.

The school is within walking distance to West Ham, Plaistow, Canning Town and Star Lane stations and is close to the dynamic London Docklands and Canary Wharf.
