The school in question is a Roman Catholic School rated by Ofsted as 'outstanding' in every category. The school are considered one of the highest achieving schools in the capital and have again achieved record results in GCSE and A-level for the 2018-2019 results; GCSE Maths and English at the school resulted in over 50% of the students achieving grades 7-9 and A-level results saw 35% of students achieving A* or A grades-well over the national average. It is due to the high level of teaching at the school that the children can expect to receive the best possible education-are you a Design Technology Teacher capable of adding to those results? The school are looking for a Design Technology Teacher to specialize in Product Design and Resistant Materials on a full-time basis from September 2021. The subject is popular at both GCSE and A-levels and the school are looking for someone capable of taking this already high-achieving department in to the next academic year and beyond, providing the necessary support to the demanding Design Technology syllabus and allow the students to participate confidently and successfully in the ever increasing technological world. The position is to teach to A-level and the school follow the AQA syllabus.

The successful applicant will find themselves working in a Design Technology department that has first rate resources throughout having recently moved into brand new DT labs. The school see the importance of this subject for their pupils and as a result want to give them the best possible opportunities with so many of the students going on to study creative subjects at A-level and College.

To join us and be successful in this Design Technology Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
