Tradewind Recruitment are working with a lovely mainstream Secondary School in Hillingdon who require an EAL Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full time position that will commence ASAP and run until the Easter Holidays in the first instance.

About the role - EAL Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon:
*You will be supporting EAL students in KS3 and KS4, helping to improve their English language, literacy and numeracy skills
*You will help to plan, prepare and deliver literacy and numeracy lessons to groups of 8-10 students, delivering the lesson plan and marking their work
*You will be working quite independently with this group of EAL students, therefore prior similar experience is preferred

About the candidate - EAL Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon:
*The successful candidate will have prior experience within a similar EAL Teaching Assistant position, and be confident working independently
*You will be a calm, patient Teaching Assistant with excellent communication skills and knowledge in supporting EAL students
*You will have the ability to plan, prepare and deliver lessons in literacy and numeracy to KS3 and KS4 students

Serviced by the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines and local buses, this school is easily accessible from North and West London as well as the Hertfordshire border.
