Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Rochdale for an April 2021 start continuing into the following academic year. This is a full time, long-term supply role with a salary of £65 per day.

About the school

We are recruiting for an Early Years Assistant on behalf on a fantastic school in Rochdale. This is an effective school where all the staff are committed to preparing children for their transition into full time formal education.

Due to the recent disturbances to their education the children are expected to be below the level of those expected for their age, so the Early Years team will be working to ensure the children are as prepared as possible for their next steps into education.

About the role

This primary school is looking for an Early years Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate must have prior experience of working with children in EYFS.

The role itself will involve supporting the class teachers within EYFS, supporting with all aspects of the Early Years Framework. The successful Teaching Assistant will also have responsibility of their own phonics group, they may also be required to take groups for sessions in fine motor skills, writing and guided reading.

To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role, you will need to:

• Have experience of working in an EYFS setting
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
