We are working with a SEND school near Swindon and we are currently seeking a Teacher with EBD Experience to work with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties in Primary phases. The role involves teaching KS2 students on a part -time basis. The school is a Specialist provision catering for pupils with BESD and Attachment Disorders. They require a Teacher with substantial amounts of experience of working with learners with challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties.

The position is part-time and starts in February will be ongoing for the rest of the academic year of 2019. After the initial term, the role will be based on contract for the entirety of the academic year directly with the school.

Previous experience of working with young people with BESD or in a PRU is essential. It will be expected that candidates will have good communication skills and appropriate qualifications to be able to meet these high standards.

Must have:
-Experience with supporting young people with EBD in the past
-Behaviour management Training or experience
-QTS- Secondary

Highly Desirable:

-Special Educational Needs Experience in a care or school setting
-Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people with attachment disorder and challenging behaviour

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
-QTS in Primary
* Have experience of working with young people or young adults with severe EBD at a school, respite or care setting.
Team-teach or other behavior management training is ideal but not necessary for the right experience in other related settings
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
