Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a Liverpool city centre secondary school who require an A 'Level Teacher of Economics. The role is part time, just 2 days a week and will be teaching Year 12 and Year 13 students. The post is to start in September and will run for the full academic year.

This Liverpool school is looking for a teacher who has experience teaching this subject and the salary will reflect the successful applicants experience, £125 - £184 per day.

The school prides itself on the exceptionally high expectations it sets for both pupils and staff. The school is vastly improving since their last Ofsted inspection with pupils displaying very good behaviour.
Our client school is also within walking distance to several bus and train links and has on-site parking.

For this position, you will be responsible for:
* Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for Economics for Year 12 and Year 13
* Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
* Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with A 'Level requirements

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status
* Be an outstanding teacher with excellent Economics curriculum subject knowledge

* Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be
willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
