COVID-19 notice: We're continuing to recruit education staff throughout these unprecedented times, as we can still get you registered and cleared ready for when schools re-open. Instead of face-to-face meetings, all interviews will be via phone and we can guide you through submitting your documents online.

Starting in September as a full time Physics Teacher you will also be required to teach Engineering and benefit from everything this well-resourced specialist Engineering Academy has to offer. Working on a full-time basis this role will last a minimum of one academic year and is expected to lead to a permanent appointment by the school and will be well supported and paid to MPS / UPS from day one.

Ofsted rated this Academy in their most recent inspection as it continues to work its way towards outstanding. The school's journey has taken hard work and a consistent and thorough approach to school planning and staff welfare. The Head Teacher has been working at the school for 10 years + before stepping up into the role of head Teacher 6 years ago. Staff well-being, behaviour, community, results and Ofsted ratings all continue to improve as the school continues its redevelopment. Now featuring a new Sixth form block, science laboratories and more plans for growth in the near future this is a chance to join a supportive and well-funded school.

The 6th form is now oversubscribed and the school intake for year 7 is also closed to reaching capacity. Pupils here come from varied backgrounds and create a diverse and inclusive pupil community that benefit and respond well to a range of extra-curricular activities, clubs and frequent school trips.
