Tradewind Recruitment is working with an Ofsted Outstanding mainstream Secondary faith School in Brent, who are seeking an English Graduate to join their team as an English Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position paying between £70 - £75 per day. This role will be offered on a long-term basis and run for the length of the academic year. Virtual interviews are set to be held as soon as this week.

As an English Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting, motivating and encouraging students across all key stages within the English Department. Working alongside class teachers, you will ensure that the individual needs of your key students are being met, ensuring they have an equal opportunity to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This role is really exciting as you will also be trained how to plan, prepare and deliver your own interventions, so is an incredible opportunity for any aspiring English Teacher!

To be successful in this English Teaching Assistant role, you will:

· Be a recent or soon-to-be English Graduate aspiring to work within education

· Be a confident, engaging and patient individual

· Have excellent communication skills, be able to follow direction and use your initiative

· Prior experience working with young people i.e.. youth work, volunteering or tutoring would be beneficial but not essential

Serviced by London Underground, National Rail Services and local buses, this School is easily accessible from all areas of North West and Central London, as well as the Home County Borders. Free street parking is also available for those who drive.
