About the School - English Lead Practitioner - Haringey, North London
Located in Tottenham, Haringey, an area going through major redevelopment, this 'Good' Ofsted Academy School is looking to further support its current teachers by bring in an English Lead Practitioner. This important dual role includes class teaching but the support and development of teaching staff in both the English department and other relatable subject areas. This school has good behaviour and ambitious students. Staff are happy, well supported and feel they can achieve their career aims at the school making this a place of low staff turnover. The school is Key Stage 3 and GCSE only.

Role requirements - English Lead Practitioner - Haringey, North London
*Must hold QTS for Secondary English teaching plus at least 3 years' experience teaching at a fast-paced city school.
*As a school in a deprived part of inner London, the ability to help students with English as an Additional Language make sustained progress would be best fit.
*Only English Teachers who can prove they teach high quality teaching and can support staff can be considered for this role.
*Plans for the English department at this school include the appointment of two NQT's who will be mentored by the Lead practitioner.
