About the School
This excellent established Academy is looking to appoint an English NQT as an additional member of staff for September. The school has a 'Good' Ofsted rating and most recently has received it's best results at GCSE. Ofsted noted the support and diverse teaching offered to key stage 3 pupils as a key feature in the schools results. The school is aiming to continue this focus further and has a strong plan in place to do this starting with the addition of several NQT's across the school who they can train and develop into the perfect teachers for the school.
This school offers a consortium for it's sixth form pupils with other local schools and will be looking for NQT's to progress onto KS5 classes when ready and assist with intervention and booster classes throughout the year groups.
Role requirements - English NQT
*Trainee English Teacher who expects to achieve QTS prior to the new academic year starting.
*The ability to teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Strong subject knowledge, good behaviour management and the ability to inspire bright pupils will be expected.
*Full support and development throughout your induction your and beyond is guaranteed. In return the school expects hard work and dedication to becoming an excellent teacher.
