English Teacher Alternative Provision Burnley
Tradewind are delighted to be working with an Alternative Provision in Burnley who are looking to appoint a dedicated English Teacher to join a successful team of teachers. This post would suit either an NQT or an experienced teacher who is passionate about teaching English and who is committed to helping young people achieve. The position is from after May Half Term until with the potential to be ongoing/ permanent for the right candidate.
This post offers the opportunity to teach English across KS3 and KS4 whilst contributing to the thriving extra-curricular programme of the school. The school are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic teacher who has experience of supporting all Secondary age groups.
You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK Teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.

*The school would like to meet an English teacher who potentially would like to take some leadership responsibility in the future.
This Burnley Alternative Provision has close links to the M65 and a large car park. If traveling by public transport, there is bus stop two minutes from the school.
