Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a selective 11 to 19 secondary school in Central Essex to assist them in finding a qualified English Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The successful teacher will be expected to teach the English curriculum to impeccably behaved KS3 and KS4 students to cover long term sickness absence. There could also be some flexibility regarding the number of teaching days each week.

The successful English Teacher will be:

Need to hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
Hold a degree in English or closely related subject.
Three reasonable A Level results, preferably in English or related subjects.
Good GCSE results, especially within English.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
