English Teacher; September 2019; Croydon School.

Like all colleagues in school, the teachers is responsible for providing a friendly, stimulating and secure environment in which every student has the opportunity to develop academically, socially and personally. The school adopts a policy of supportive rigour when developing the student's academic and extra-curricular performance. Small class sizes mean that teachers have the opportunity to pay close attention to their pupils and develop each child.

With the guidance of the Subject Leader and Head of Faculty, the Teacher is responsible for the complete and timely delivery of the subject syllabus, using a variety of teaching strategies to engage and challenge all students and meet their needs.

The ideal candidate for this Key Stage 3 and 4 English Teacher role will:

*QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
*Strong subject knowledge
*The ability to teach the history curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5

Based in the borough of Croydon; based near West Croydon Overground stations and Trams.
